The Golden City of Kanchipuram is situated on the banks of Vegavathi river in Tamil Nadus Kanchipuram district. It is revered as one of the seven sacred places of India. Of the sacred 108 Tirupatis, as many as 18 are situated in Vishnu Kanchi itself. Kanchipuram is the home of religion, besides culture, art, learning, philosophy and music. The Brindavan of Paramacharya Sri Chandrashekharendra Saraswathi is worshipped here. The present swamijis are Sri Jayendra Saraswathi and Sri Shankara Vijayendra Saraswathi.
